Narrowalk utilizes WordPress as the primary Open Source CMS (content management system) for rich web-integration as well as blog architecture. In the early and most basic parts of HTML websites are limited if they do not integrate the use of a CMS system for a website.
Today, the use of a CMS system is the standard for 2 simple reasons.
1: It allows for quick adaptation to new technologies that come out in the future as it is build on PHP rather than the limits of HTML.
2: It gives the client the ability of they choose to modify their own content without the absolute need to contact their webmaster.
CMS allows for easier optimization as well as a user friendly interface. Building a new website that does not utilize a CMS is like purchasing a car with absolutely no power options or headlights. It can be driven, but only at night and it is very difficult to lower the rear window while driving.
In the same way a website not built on a CMS *limits* the ability of your website.
